Overview

Yoky Matsuoka, founder of Nest Thermostat and busy mother, had a new idea to startup a program that would help other working parents like herself. Having recently moved from Google to Panasonic, she hired a small team. My agency team was brought on to brand and design her virtual assistant product.

Define the voice, tone, and mood of Yohana (before it had a name) and bring it to life on a marketing site in time for the products’ debut.

Challenge

My agency team worked closely with our client to define the product, Yohana. Developing six concepts that explored various sides of Yohana’s personality, we used scales to anchor each on a set of key brand attributes to determine the best solution.
